LADOCK CHURCH

Intercessions for Sunday, 14th June 2026

Intercessions for Trinity 2, Sunday 14th June 2026

Loving Lord, when Jesus saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, for they were weary and lost. We pray for the Church worldwide. Empower your people with a spirit of deep empathy. Give our clergy and lay leaders the grace to bring healing to the sick, care for the marginalized, and boldly proclaim your good news.

Lord, in your mercy: hear our prayer.

Prince of Peace, we pray for the leaders of all nations. In a world facing division, poverty, and conflict, guide our governments and industries to enact policies rooted in justice and equality. We pray for the work of the United Nations and all organizations striving to build safe, peaceful communities.

Lord, in your mercy: hear our prayer.

Father, we lift up to you our local neighbourhoods, workplaces, and families. We pray for local charities, healthcare workers, food banks, and volunteers who step forward to help those in need. Open our eyes to the people around us who feel isolated or weary and show us how to be a supportive presence in their lives.

Lord, in your mercy: hear our prayer.

Compassionate Healer, we bring before you all who are battling sickness, disease, or mental anguish. We pray for those experiencing loneliness, financial hardship, or bereavement. In a moment of quiet, we remember those known to us personally who need your comforting and restoring touch today.  Wrap them in your peace and strength.

Lord, in your mercy: hear our prayer.

Triune God, we thank you for the example of all your saints and those who have gone before us. We remember those who have recently died and those whose anniversaries fall at this time. Comfort those who mourn them and grant us all the promise of eternal life in your presence.

Lord, in your mercy: hear our prayer.

Gracious God, you have called us to labour in your harvest. As we go into the coming week, help us to freely give what we have freely received.

Merciful Father, accept these prayers for the sake of your Son, our Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen
