The service this morning at 11.00 am will be Holy Communion, to be taken by Reverend Linda.

There will also be a service of Evensong at 6.00 pm, taken by Canon Pat Robson.

V E Day 80th Anniversary
The 80th anniversary of V E Day falls on Thursday 8 May. Our ringers will be joining in the national commemoration at 6.30 pm on that Day. 

We will hold a special service of commemoration at 11.00 am on Sunday 4 May. This will be non-eucharistic, following the guidelines suggested by the Church of England. The service will be conducted by Reverend Linda; the choir will be singing. Everyone is warmly welcomed to attend and hopefully to stay for refreshments afterwards.

V E 80 Commemoration Coffee Morning- Saturday May 3rd in Ladock Community Hall, 10.00 – 12.00. Please join us for coffee, cake and a chance to share family memories of Victory in Europe Day some 80 years on. Everyone most welcome. Any help with furniture moving, baking or hosting would be very much appreciated.


Bible Study Group
The Bible Study Group has two sessions remaining to complete their course covering the Gospels. These will take place on Monday 28 April and Monday 5 May, even though the latter is another bank holiday. Both sessions will be at Oxturn House, 10.45 for 11.00. 

Ladock Church Bells Appeal Fete, 28 June
 All donations for the stalls will be very gratefully received.

Anything for Books, Children’s Toys, the Emporium of Gifts and Collectibles, Tombola and Bottles of Wine can either be dropped off at my house or contact me for collection: Carey Sharp, Treworyan, Ladock. Email: careysharp21@yahoo.co.uk.  

There will also be Bring and Buy cake, jams and chutneys stalls. Please can contributions be bought to the fete on the day, or dropped off with me the day before.  

For Plants, please can all gardeners consider passing anything that is surplus or unwanted for sale on the stall. Plants that are likely to be in flower or at their best in June would be especially welcome. If you can help, please call Amanda Starkey on 01726 469156. She will arrange to care for the plants until the Fete. Alternatively, your plants can be given to me, details as above.
