LADOCK CHURCH

Notices for Sunday 6th July 2025

Ladock Church Notices for 6 July, Third Sunday after Trinity

Today’s service is Holy Communion at 11.00 am, to be taken by Reverend Linda. The choir will be singing.

This Sunday will also see the departure of the 8 bells of Ladock as they begin their journey to Loughborough. They will depart just after 10:30am from outside the church, being towed by the Cornish Tractor Club. The convoy will visit St Erme, Tresillian, Tregony and Grampound before coming back to Ladock at lunchtime; in the afternoon they will leave the parish for the last time. We hope the new and refurbished bells will be back in the tower by Christmas.

Ladock Church Fete 28 June

As everyone will be aware, the aim of the fete this year was to raise funds for the Bells Appeal. The event was more successful than any of the organisers hoped, producing nearly £6,000, with further sums being contributed during this week, taking the grand total to over £6,100 on Wednesday. We are immensely grateful to the organiser, Carey Sharp, Jonathan Young and all his family as well as the ringers, sponsors, stall holders, helpers on the day, as well as everyone who came out to support this truly memorable occasion.  We are well and truly on the way!
