This Sunday’s morning service of Holy Communion will take place at 11.00 am and will be taken by Reverend Pat.
The calendar for the week ahead is as follows
(There will be no service of Morning Prayer on Tuesdays while Reverend Linda is away)
Monday 1 June: School Assembly, 2.30 pm
Tuesday 2 June: No Morning Prayer this week.
Friday 5 June: School Assembly 2.30 pm; Choir Practice 4.00 – 5.00pm
Saturday 6 June: No coffee morning in the Hall this month -final day of Royal Cornwall Show.
Sunday 7 June: Holy Communion 11am with Choir to be taken by Reverend Brian.
The Church is open for private prayer every day between 9.00 am and 4.00 pm

Flower Festival – Cornwall Past and Present
What a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend. Ladock Church looked resplendent decorated with fabulous flower arrangements depicting our lovely county. Acappella Sound’s concert on the Saturday evening was brilliant and much enjoyed by One and All, as were Peter and Roger’s Saturday and Sunday afternoon organ recitals, the Monday afternoon Bell Ringers and the delicious refreshments. A huge thank you to Shirley and her team for their great organisation and hard work. An amazing £1,272.80 was raised for church funds.
A Message from Reverend Linda
Thank you all so much for your prayers and good wishes; they have been of great comfort to us all. Fortunately matters here are beginning to move in the right direction, which is wonderful. With love and prayers to everyone, Linda.
Ladock Church Fete 27 June: 2.30 pm-4.30 pm
All donations for the stalls will be very gratefully received.
Anything for Books, Children’s Toys, the Emporium of Gifts and Collectibles, Tombola and Bottles of Wine (full and empty) can either be dropped off at my house or contact me for collection: Carey Sharp, Treworyan, Ladock. Email: careysharp21@yahoo.co.uk.
There will also be Bring and Buy, cake, jams and chutneys stalls. Please can contributions be bought to the fete on the day, or dropped off with me the day before.
For Plants, please can all gardeners consider passing anything that is surplus or unwanted for sale on the stall. Plants that are likely to be in flower or at their best in June would be especially welcome.
If you can help, please call Amanda Starkey, 01726 469156. She will arrange to care for the plants until the Fete. Alternatively, your plants can be given to me, details as above.
