Third Sunday of Advent
This Sunday’s service of Holy Communion at 11.00 am will be taken by Reverend Linda. The Christmas Tree Festival will start after the service.

Sunday 21 December: Holy Communion 11.00 am, to be taken by Bishop David and Reverend Caroline.
Sunday 21 December: Carol Service 6.00 pm, to be taken by Reverend Linda. Collection in aid of St Pteroc’s. Raffle, mulled wine and mince pies
The Church is open for private prayer every day between 9.00 am and 4.00 pm

Coffee Morning and Christmas Fair
The coffee morning and Christmas Fair held on Saturday 6th December was a very enjoyable morning and a great success. Many thanks to all the helpers, stall holders and spenders - an amazing £352 was raised for church funds.
Morning Service on 21 December:
Bishop David is visiting the parishes of Ladock and St Erme on 21 December. He and Caroline will take the 9.30 service at St Erme before they both join us at Ladock for a service of Holy Communion at 11.00. This replaces the advertised Service of the Word. The carol service arrangements in the evening are unaffected.

Wednesday 24 December, Christmas Eve: Crib service, 4.00 pm, Midnight Mass 11.30 pm.

Christmas Raffle
Once again, we are holding a raffle at the Christmas Carol Service on 21st December. All proceeds will go to St Petroc’s. First prize will be a Christmas hamper and any contributions for this, however small, would be very welcome - mince pies, savoury or sweet biscuits, chocolates, wine, snacks, Christmas pudding etc! There will be a few other prizes as well, including a voucher for Treway Farm. Thank you very much in advance. Bells News
The bells returned this Saturday, 13 December! They will be on display in the baptistry over the weekend before being installed in the tower next week and hopefully will be rung for the carol service. Please note that the rededication service planned for 17 January has been postponed until 29 March (3.30 pm), as Bishop David has to attend Bishop Hugh’s installation service at Worcester Cathedral, now scheduled for the same day. We will be holding an informal open afternoon for donors, well-wishers and locals on the afternoon of 17 January instead. Provisional time 17.00 – 18.30. Further details to follow.
