Thy Kingdom Come - God with Us - 14th-24th May
This year’s Thy Kingdom Come focuses on the presence of God through His Spirit. God is with us in
everyday life—in both the joys and the sorrows—and through His Spirit, He seeks to reveal Himself
to those who do not yet know Him. Over the 11 days, we will explore a different Bible story each
day—from Ruth and Gideon to Elijah and the early church waiting for the promised HSpirit—each one showing God’s presence, power, and love at work in people and places. As we prfor our five people, our hope is that they too will experience the life-changing love of God and
choose to follow Him. Rev Caroline will also be holding a Compline service each evening at 7.30pm at various locations throughout the period. Those for the second week are shown in the calendar above.
Flower Festival Raffle Prizes
We will be holding a raffle at the concert on the Saturday evening, 23rd May, of the Flower Festival
(Cornwall Past and Present) to raise money for the church. So yes, we are asking for donations of
raffle prizes! Anything flower-themed or Cornish-themed would be very welcome, but not essential.
Thank you for anything, however small, you can contribute. Donations can be left at church or email
secretary@ladockchurch.org.uk to arrange collection. We really appreciate your support.

A special Garden Party for Jonathan and Hayley.
In thanks and recognition for their work to restore our bells, the Lord Lieutenant nominated Jonathan and Hayley for a garden party at Buckingham Palace. Congratulations to you both and a big thank you from Ladock as well
