The Christmas Tree Festival
This will be a great opportunity to see a wealth of trees
imaginatively decorated ‘Through the Ages’ by the
various village and church groups in the benefice.
Come and view them between 10am and 4pm from
14th to 21st December. Entry is free though
donations, (this year for the Bells Appeal) are always
welcome. Refreshments will be available; you may
leave a comment - including voting for your favourite
tree - and also share a thought, wish or prayer for
loved ones on our Prayer Tree. There will be friendly
faces to welcome you, serve tea and answer any
questions. If you want to know more now, or take part either decorating a tree or doing a two
hour stint welcoming people, please get in touch with Jo Nicolle.
jo.nicolle@btinternet.com or 07708495480. See you there!
2026 Flower Festival - a date for your diary: 20th Nov 2025 @ 2pm Ladock Church.
Please do come along to a meeting to discuss the forth coming Flower Festival to be held in May 2026. The theme will be about Cornwall but the title will be decided by the group and the event held over 2-3 days. The idea is that something is created from props, handicraft and flowers to depict a chosen title for others to come and enjoy. People’s ingenuity never ceases to amaze me. We are all there to help each other and it's certainly not a competition and no experience is necessary.
So ladies and gentleman just come along and see what it's about. Should you be interested but can't come along, please do call on 01726 882697 or email at shirleyasoper@gmail.com
