Our New Priest in Charge
We are all looking forward to welcoming Reverend Caroline Husband and husband Cliff to our parish community. Caroline’s Licensing Service will take place at Probus Church at 7.00 pm on Tuesday, 5 November. All welcome. She will be working closely with our much-valued existing clergy, Linda and Pat, getting to know the parishes in the enlarged benefice over the next few months.
Our planned services and other events in November are:
2 November: Coffee Morning in Ladock Community Hall, 10.00 am – 12.00 noon.
3 November, All Saints: Holy Communion 11.00 am
5 November: Licensing Service of Revd Caroline Husband at Probus, 7.00 pm
10 November, Remembrance Sunday: Act of Remembrance 10.50 am, followed by special Remembrance service in Church.
17 November: Holy Communion 11.00 am with choir
24 November: Holy Communion 11.00 am with Sunday Club
24 November: Evensong 6.00 pm
There is a short service of Morning Prayer every Tuesday at 9.00 am.
The Church is open for private prayer every day, including weekends.

Macmillan Coffee Morning, 5 October
Thank you to all who supported the Macmillan Coffee Morning. We are pleased to say that we were able to donate £275 to this vital charity. Thank you to everyone who baked cakes, donated books, helped to set up and clear away, wash up and help in the kitchen…and for giving so generously. Jenny
Harvest Festival, 6 October
Our Harvest Festival took place in truly biblical conditions. The Church looked beautiful (see photos below and on the website) and was full, in spite of the awful weather outside. At least £270 was raised in the collection and the lunch after the service for RABI and the Truro Foodbank, as well as a much-appreciated quantity of food, which was also sent to the Foodbank. We are very grateful to all who helped decorate the Church and who made the effort to attend.

Ladock Church Sunday Club
Please join us on Sunday 24 November at 11am for arts,crafts,singing,Bible stories and more.
Children are supported to boost their confidence and public speaking skills through as much/little as they wish. Children will be encouraged to take part in the Sunday service, this involves, taking collection, ringing the bell, reading lessons and prayers etc.
