A Message from the Rector

A Christmas Like No Other?

We are living through a time where forward planning has become almost impossible. As I write this in mid-November in the middle of a second lockdown introduced at very short notice, I have no idea what Christmas has in store for us. You will see that we have a plan for the Christmas services in Church but do keep an eye on our website and on our notice boards as these may change as the situation develops.

May the Lord bless you all this Christmas and New Year.

Reverend Joachim Foot

Church Opening Times

The Church is open for private prayer on weekdays during the term time from approximately 9.00 am until 3.00 pm.

Sunday Club for Children

Please join us every third Sunday of the month during the Church Service for Children’s Sunday Club for exciting activities, arts and crafts, games, bible stories and lots of fun in a Covid-safe environment. Numbers may have to be restricted so in the first instance please contact Roxana: pray.4us@oiutlook.com

Christmas Draw

Each year the church holds a Christmas draw following the carol service. As we don’t yet know what restrictions may or may not be imposed, this year we have decided to run the draw separately. The system will remain the same in that you put your name in a numbered box after paying your money and on draw day corresponding numbers are drawn and hopefully you will win a prize. Any proceeds from the draw will go to church funds. This year the first prize is £50 with lots of other very nice prizes. The draw will take place outside Ladock Shop on Tuesday 15th December, which also has draw sheets for sale. Hopefully this will brighten an otherwise dismal year.

If you have difficulties in obtaining tickets or wish to donate prizes, please contact Jenny Thomas on 01726 885022.
