Ladock News July 2022 - Messages from our Team Rector and Churchwarden
Thank You The organisers of the Jubilee celebrations have written elsewhere in this issue of the Ladock News, but even so, I know that all of us in the Church, and indeed the entire village, would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who was involved in any way in making the Jubilee weekend so memorable and successful. We were delighted by the support we received at the Saturday coffee morning and at the special service on the Sunday. Indeed, at every event over the four days, there were more people present than many anticipated; we all relished the opportunity to meet friends and neighbours after such a long period of restrictions. We have received a worthwhile and most welcome boost to our finances as a result, for which we are truly grateful. Much more importantly, we have been able to bring the various organisations in the village closer together, to work for the benefit of us all. This is a fitting and hopefully lasting legacy from a truly memorable weekend.
Joe Sharp, Churchwarden
