‘And the Word Became Flesh’

At Christmas the Church celebrates the incarnation of Jesus Christ; the great mystery at the heart of our faith. As a Church we believe that God became a human being (became incarnate) in Jesus Christ. We celebrate Christmas because we are celebrating our salvation. Jesus Christ is the light that shines into the darkness of this world and guides us into the loving arms of God. Something really worth celebrating.

Christmas can be a very busy time for all of us. The organisation, the running around, the decorating, the present buying, cooking etc. etc. We can find ourselves exhausted before Christmas Day even arrives. Christmas is therefore a great time to come into Church, to find some peace from the business of life and rest in God’s loving embrace.

With Every Blessing,
